Euroschool 2007

In the 2^nd year of CMA NoE, activities of the VIU ES were directed towards the organization of the 2^nd European School in Materials Science. The date and place of the ES 2^nd were May 20 - 26, 2007, at MONS Hotel and Congress Center in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The title of the ES 2^nd was "Properties and application of complex metallic alloys". The program consisted of Basic tutorials, where six lecturers presented altogether 24 lecturing hours (each lecturer four hours of 50 min duration) and Advanced tutorials, where seven lecturers presented 14 lecturing hours (each lecturer two hours of 50 min duration). The speakers were invited on the basis of excellence and good response was obtained.

All organizational tasks were performed through the ES web page http://euroschool-cma.ijs.si. The number of participants at the ES 2^nd was 174, coming from 20 countries.
